New York City New Calorie Law
The largest city in America declared that fast food chains and Asian food outlets must post there calories. It’s the first state to declare a law on the calories! Now they have to put a printed sign on the menu with all the calories. The overall goal is to conquer obesity. The city has banned food containing trans-fat cooking oils. Some fast food chains have complained that they don’t want the calorie and nutrition information cluttering up the menu boards.
My opinion of this article is that it’s great that they have to post the calories so less people will become obese. For every four adults in the world who are malnourished five more are overweight. 30 percent of them clinically obese, according to the World health organization.
